The Armchair Pundit

DATELINE: May 14, 2004

OK, here's the deal: the XOOPS database of my outlines is totally fubar'd. Thank God some of you emailed me, because I wasn't getting the many "broken links" reports from the XOOPS download system. So I'm throwing up this quick-and-dirty bit of HTML (actually recycled from my very first webpage...yeah, I'm a packrat) so you can still get the outlines. Scroll down, the outline links are below.

This means very little to you, the end-user. It annoys me because I liked seeing which outlines were popular and which ones weren't. Oh well. If I ever manage to get another content management system up, and if that system has a user-login system, you'll need to re-register. Sorry 'bout that. But like I said before, I keep this stuff up for fun, not for profit (I hardly update anywhere near enough for that), and I certainly don't hand out your information to others.

Incidentally, if anyone knows of a CMS that is (i) free (I'm cheap), (ii) allows both XOOPS-like content management with Movable-Type like weblog capabilities (e.g., entries via email or other non-browser based methods), and (iii) won't blow up on me like this one has, please let me know. If any webmonkeys out there would like to set me up with such a system gratis, even better, though all I can offer in the way of compensation is a mention on the site and my gratitude. And maybe a six-pack of beer. And cheap beer at that.

If you want to e-mail me, my e-mail address is contained in a text file that accompanies each outline. Just look in the .ZIP file.

Damien's Law School Outlines

Here you can get the outlines I prepared for each of my law school class finals (a long, long time ago). Each of these outlines is provided at no monetary cost; however, they are e-mailware. That is, you must send me e-mail telling me what you think, how they helped, etc. You can reach me at the email indicated in each .ZIP file. You can redistribute all of these outlines unmodified to anyone you think might find them helpful.

THESE OUTLINES DO NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE, nor do I make any guarantees about how much they'll help you study. They are provided "as is." They helped me, your mileage may vary. Once again, these outlines are not legal advice; if you have a legal problem, please consult a licensed attorney.

All of the outlines below are compressed; you will need a program like WinZip (available here) to decompress them. They are all in Microsoft Word format; if you don't have Word, you can get Microsoft Word Viewer free of charge here to view and print the outlines.

All outlines are from courses at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas. (That's why the table is orange and gray!).
